This 32 square feet Khatibi design rug is hand woven in Tabriz. The rug has 200 knots per square inches (40 raj) which is considered as being one of the most popular rugs.  This carpet has a very attractive design with a high percentage of silk. Its field is made of high-quality merinos’ wool and silk. The rich bergamot (medallion) of this carpet is extended from the upper transverse border to the lower transverse border. This model of Khatibi carpet is known in the market as the so-called stretched bergamot. The flower in the middle of this carpet has a special color variation that casts a beautiful shadow in the frame. The four corner flowers of this carpet have a white silk base that combines the colorful flowers around it very well. It has a very elegant and attractive texture with a pleasant and eye-catching color that has attracted many tastes.
